The over-riding objective of the Parent Council is to act as a channel of communication between parents and the school, with a view to providing support to parents.

Consisting of the Headteacher and volunteer parents, representing each year group, the PC meet every half term to discuss school life.

Council members actively pursue the following aims:-

Being accessible to parents either in person, telephone or by e-mail

Being pro-active in seeking views of parents

Being welcoming and friendly to new parents

Assisting the transition from Kindergarten to Reception

Acting as an information/explanation point for parents about day to day routines or events in the school calendar

Providing feedback to parents either via the school newsletter, PC newsletter or on an individual basis as soon as is practicable
