In the event of a decision to close the school


During the day:

  • We will contact the parents by email and telephone.
  • We will ensure all members of staff stay on site until all children have been collected.

Outside of the school day (for example in the event of bad weather):

  • We will contact the parents by email.
  • A message will be posted on our website.
  • The Local Authority will post a message on their website.
  • Local media will be notified and they will make announcements according to their procedures.
  • Notices will be displayed on the school gates
